It Won't Be Easy To Knock Real Madrid Out Of Champions League - Marseille Striker Fernando Morientes

Former Real Madrid striker Fernando Morientes has set his sights on knocking Los Merengues out of the UEFA Champions League but admits that Marseille will find it difficult to do so.

Should the French outfit manage to beat Madrid by three goals at Stade Velodrome and Milan beat Zurich away, Los Blancos would go out of the competition at the group stages.

"Nobody can deny that it is going to be difficult to beat Real Madrid 3-0, but in football you never know," he toldAS.

:It depends on the mental and physical state or Madrid. It is difficult but we know we can score three goals but Madrid never leaves the pitch without scoring."

The veteran striker says he expects the home support to get right behind is side in the game and give them a chance of creating an upset.

"The people here are going to respond, they have given great importance to this game.It's going to be difficult but beautiful, you don't get to play a game of this nature every day," he remarked.
